Manage your subscription, update payment methods, set up a custom domain, and view invoices.

Subscription Plans

  • RocketHockey offers simple, transparent pricing starting at $25/month.
  • All plans include full access to scheduling, roster management, stats tracking, and a public league website.
  • There are no per-player fees — manage as many players as your league needs.
  • Stats tracking is included in every plan at no extra cost (unlike competitors who charge add-on fees).
  • Billing is monthly with no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime.
  • View your current plan and billing status in Organization Settings > Billing.

Pro tip: Annual billing is available at a discount. Contact us to switch to annual billing and save.

Upgrading Your Plan

  • To upgrade, go to Organization Settings > Billing and click "Change Plan."
  • Select your new plan and confirm. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
  • You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
  • All your existing data (schedules, rosters, stats) is preserved when upgrading.
  • If you need features not available in standard plans, contact us about custom enterprise plans.
  • Downgrading works the same way — the change takes effect at your next billing date.

Pro tip: If you run multiple leagues under one organization, you only need one subscription.

Managing Payment Methods

  • Go to Organization Settings > Billing to manage your payment methods.
  • Click "Update Payment Method" to add or change your credit card.
  • We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Your card information is stored securely by Stripe — RocketHockey never stores card numbers.
  • If a payment fails, you'll receive an email notification with a link to update your payment method.
  • You have a 7-day grace period after a failed payment before your account is affected.

Pro tip: Use a card that won't expire mid-season to avoid payment interruptions.

Viewing Invoices and Receipts

  • All invoices are available in Organization Settings > Billing > Invoice History.
  • Each invoice shows the amount, date, plan name, and payment status.
  • Click on any invoice to view details or download a PDF for your records.
  • Invoices are emailed to the organization admin automatically after each payment.
  • For non-profit organizations, invoices include your organization's tax ID if provided.
  • Need a custom invoice format? Contact support and we'll accommodate your accounting needs.

Pro tip: Download all invoices at year-end for easy tax preparation.

Custom Domain Setup

  • Your league gets a free subdomain at yourleague.rockethockey.app by default.
  • To use your own domain (e.g., www.yourleague.com), go to Organization Settings > Domain.
  • Enter your custom domain and we'll provide the DNS records you need to configure.
  • Add a CNAME record pointing your domain to rockethockey.app at your domain registrar.
  • SSL certificates are provisioned automatically — your custom domain will have HTTPS.
  • DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate, though most complete within a few hours.
  • You can use both your custom domain and the default subdomain simultaneously.

Pro tip: If you don't have a domain yet, register one at a registrar like Namecheap or Google Domains for about $12/year.

Canceling Your Subscription

  • To cancel, go to Organization Settings > Billing and click "Cancel Subscription."
  • Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • After cancellation, your data is preserved for 90 days in case you decide to resubscribe.
  • During the 90-day grace period, you can reactivate your account and all data will be restored.
  • After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted.
  • You can export your data (rosters, schedules, stats) before canceling in Organization Settings > Export.

Pro tip: If you only run a seasonal league, consider pausing your subscription during the off-season instead of canceling. Contact support to set this up.
